KC Bookkeeping Solutions Inc. is here to provide solutions for your bookkeeping needs.  KCBS is owned by Kimberly Christie who is a QuickBooks ProAdvisor with over a decade of experience working with small businesses, contractors, legal offices, e-commerce and non-profits. KCBS is based in Baltimore, MD but offers remote bookkeeping services to clients throughout the US.  Remote service means KCBS can be of assistance wherever you may be and save you from sharing your valuable office space without sacrificing quality work and communication.  Each client can expect quality care and attention to detail in order to provide an accurate, timely and dependable product.

Each client's needs are different, so your service is customized to fit your needs. Some clients only need a bookkeeper to do the monthly posting and reconciliation while providing financial oversight.  Some clients need their bookkeeper to assist with accounts payable and receivable, or with weekly data posting of items such as payroll to assist in tracking cash flow and register balance.  No matter what your needs, KCBS will provide the care and attention to detail you require.  When you know your books are in good hands you are free to focus on what really matters - your business!

Kimberly got her accounting start working as controller in a contractor's office handling all day to day office tasks as well as payroll, accounts receivable and payable, customer communications and some management of social media. She later expanded her bookkeeping knowledge by working as the administrative assistant and bookkeeper in a Baltimore based non-profit office whose mission was to provide support and technology for disabled people.  She then continued to grow her skills and expertise by working as an accounting associate in a CPA's office where her main focus was account reconciliation, financial analysis and preparation of 1099 and Form 1 tax filings for a multitude of clients.  The wealth of knowledge gained from these jobs paved the way for Kimberly to begin work as a freelance bookkeeper providing top notch accounting services to multiple clients in an array of industries.  Kimberly specializes in non-profit bookkeeping and understands the advanced level of data tracking and accounting required. She has also managed several audits and reviews for various non-profit clients.  This knowledge also makes her better able to consult for-profit businesses that may benefit from some aspects of this level of accounting based on their needs. Another specialty is helping businesses to clean up their books, true up their balances, re-design their chart of accounts, streamline processes and create systems to provide special reports and intuitive financials.  Kimberly's enjoyment of working with an array of clients in an array of industries led to the creation of KC Bookkeeping Solutions Inc.
